RETURNS POLICY

We have a 7 day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

In the case of your returning goods for a credit note or exchange, please note:

(a) We will not be held responsible if there is a delay in delivery.

(b) You must send a copy of the Return & Exchange Form with any return.

(c) In the event that your returned goods are lost in transit, we will not be held liable. We therefore recommend that you send all returns via Registered Post.

(d) Please allow 14 business days from the day your return arrives at Taylored Tails for a credit note to be attached to your account.

(e) Change of mind returns will have a 10% restocking fee, and credit note only.

(f) We do not process refunds; a credit note will be put onto your account.


To start a return, you can contact us at sales@tayloredtails.nz. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 58 Park Road, Katikati, BOP New Zealand 3129. 

 A ‘Return & Exchange Form’ must be completed and returned with your garments. To access the Return & Exchange Form please email sales@tayloredtails.nz the return shipping /postage is at the cost of you, the customer.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as Smarty Pants, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Defective or Damaged Goods 

If you take delivery of a product which is defective or was wrongly described on our website at the time of purchase, we will refund the cost of the product or exchange same at your request in accordance with the consumer guarantees provided under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantee Act

We reserve the right to determine whether a product is defective and to conduct a production and quality check. If a product is deemed defective by us, a replacement item will be shipped where possible subject to stock availability or a credit note issued. Alternatively, if you have a requested a refund, we will make the necessary payment.
